SHOW BY DOING
The bounty of God’s natural wonders.
The youth are witnesses to the lives and actions of Christian men (their mentors) for this time period where they may see, interact, and participate in various outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, hiking, and team sports. The goal is to “show by doing” how men of God enjoy the bounty of God’s natural wonders found outdoors and are able to interact with like-minded men in this endeavor. By providing the youth with this opportunity, the area organizations will be able to build on this weekend experience and continue to provide the youth with an ongoing mentoring relationship whereby they are better equipped with the “tools” provided by God to deal with a fallen world.

The operation of The ROCK is that of a business. Even though the overlying endeavor is that of a Christian ministry, it still must have access to funds in order to carry on with the work assigned to it via the scriptures. It is a business, engaged in the Lord’s work! It is the Lord’s business! The ROCK is not a private foundation and is specifically included in section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a publicly supported charitable organization, providing a direct service to the general public, and actively functioning in a supporting relationship to other 501(C)(3) organizations.
All donations to the ROCK are tax deductible and any person or organization donating to the ROCK will receive a receipt to write off the donation for tax purposes.
